Incredibly, the Bombers held onto their very slim lead (13-12) in the last quarter for the win...by a c-hair, football fans. It was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Good work, Michael Bishop!!! And we had great defence again...7 turnovers!! Awesome. Offence still needs lots of work, but...we won!! (did I mention?)
It's only 3 p.m. on Day One of Vaycayshunz...what to do now? Whatever I wantz, that's what.
Don't you hate when you wake up with a headache? At least if I had earned it...it must be PWS (post-work-stress)...yes, that's it. And this too shall pass...by tomorrow I'm thinkin'. I hope the farmers of Western Canada appreciate all the work I just did for them these past 2 weeks, gettin' ready for the new crop year, which begins today...August 1. Where is the year going? It was June 1 and we were having dinner with B & V from Kelowna and Victoria (respectively) and now it's August 1.
Mus' get over to the parentals' tomorrow with M and finish staining the house. It'll go fast and then we can start re-staining the deck ...and then...and then...no and then!! (name that movie)...we be done!! These things take time...
Well, must forage for nourishment, have to keep my strength up til dinner. The stupid cat (eldest) S, wants to go outside. She's only allowed out under supervision, with strict orders to not go after any birds or bunnies in the yard, both of which we have an abundance of...gotta be real carefull with S, she runs fast for an old cat (she be 11). My Kitty turns 6 this month...happy birthday, Kitty!! Seems like only yesterday you came to live with us.
Ok, enuf. Congratulations Bombers for a hard-fought win!!! Keep up the good workz!!
